Making Up Missed Lessons

• If your child must miss a lesson, please call our office or inform the Deck Supervisor at the pool as soon as possible.

• Your child is allowed to make-up the missed lesson, but it is your responsibility to schedule such make-up lessons. You may schedule the make-up lesson by calling the office or by speaking with the Deck Supervisor at the pool.

• Make-up lessons must be done within 30 days of the initial missed lesson. You may schedule a make-up lesson only 1 time for each missed lesson -- we cannot reschedule missed make-up lessons.

• Students who display symptoms of illness, such as fever, diarrhea, etc. should not participate in class. Children with chicken pox should not swim until all sores are scabbed over.

• If lessons are cancelled due to inclement weather or pool conditions, we will attempt to reach you by phone, so please be sure our staff has all daytime phone numbers (work, cell, pager) as well as your home phone number. The media will be notified during times of bad weather, but if in doubt, please call our offices to verify the class schedule.

• If a day's classes are cancelled by Siouxland Aquatics, we will schedule an alternative day for make-up lessons -- such as a Friday.

• During inclement weather call our office for verification of classes. Cancellations will be posted on the local TV stations and aired on the radio.
